Trend: Siren Suits

Autumn Winter 24-25

For fall 2024, designers continue to dress for their interpretation of the modern “office siren”, offering a variety of takes on the classic suit. Schiaparelli, as usual, embraced the unconventional with elements like a braid of hair for a tie, paired with high-waisted, low-crotch pants. Dior injected rebellious youth into traditional suits by graffiti-ing bold "Miss Dior" graphics onto the fabric. Prada referenced the 1940s silhouette with longer jackets and mid-calf length skirts, evoking a timelessness. Tom Ford brought back early 2000s office chic with pinstripes and three-piece suits featuring alluring low-cut necklines. Givenchy reimagined the suit with a triple-breasted jacket, offering a modern take on tailoring. It is clear that power dressing for the modern woman remains a dynamic and ongoing conversation in fashion.
